Proves that it is possible to do it when you are committed. Next up was Jo, she was wearing a dress and looked fabulous. She has been working hard over the months and made a lifestyle change to the better. Cat showed off her new her and she looks great. Cat is looking forward reaching her goal and see to it that she'll tie the knot at the end of the year with her soul mate. Bob said "Cat if I was there I would squeeze your butt!" Everyone's laughing. Tracy walks out looking slimmer. Artie looks amazing and is cheering up the crowd showing himself off. AJ can't believe how much younger he looks. He says "I can't stop looking at myself and touch myself" the crowd is laughing loud. Wal walks out but it looks like another person! It looks like he has lost an astounding amount of weight. He exercise together with his wife and she too has lost weight - 30kgs! He is shinning with confidence and shows off his new figure. Jillian shouts "I'll be the first woman asking you to marry!".
It is time for the old contestants to weigh-in and see who has lost the largest amount of body percentage.

After a close call between him and Shane, Wal ends up winning $50,000 and is giving away 50% to charity treating burns victims. He has lost an amazing 66.3kgs (-37.52%) great effort - well done Wal. He thanks Bob and Jillian for their hard training. And everyone for their support.
The finalists were welcomed to the stage. First up was Kristie, one of the most competitive and determined competitor on the show. She looks absolutely great and so slim! She says she is feeling full of energy. Harry came on the show for an emotional reason - so his son wouldn't be ashamed of his dad. After being voted off because of a strong alliance Harry earned his way back into the game. Harry walks out looking great and his two boys come up on the stage and join him. Bob "I didn't recognize you!" Jillian said "I recognized you I didn't expect anything less from you". Adro walks out and there is same scenario - he looks like a different person! After getting voted off just before the final, a change in game play and Adro was invited back to the final. Adro says that his journey inspired his brother as well to lose weight. Bob tells him "I'm so proud over you Adro". Fiona has grown during the course of the game she has changed they way she look at life. She walks in looking more beautiful than ever. Bob says to her "last one picked is one of the last one standing".
Time for the finalists to weigh-in and the moment we have waited for and we all have had our thoughts about - who will win? The winner will walk home with $200,000. But there is still something for the others. On 2nd place the prize is $30,000, 3rd place gets $20,000 and the 4th wins $10,000. Everyone will also receive training equipment from Workout World. Fiona is first to weigh-in. Her starting weight was 101.1kgs and she is currently weighing 71.6kgs which is -29.18% body percent loss. The crowd is cheering and blowing whistles. The pressure is on among the finalists and Harry steps up. When he first came into the house he weighed 178.9kgs now he ways 112.7kgs which is a loss of 66.2kgs! That gives Harry a body percentage loss of -37.00%. Kristie is next and her hopes are high. Her starting weight was 104.8kgs, she currently weighs 66.1kgs which is a weight loss of 38.7kgs. But her body percentage loss is -36.93%, unfortunately not as great as Harry's but soooo close it hurts. It seems like Harry is going to take it home but then there is Adro, waiting to step up and it really looks like he has lost a lot from last time we saw him. At former 136.5kgs Adro now stands on the scale and it shows he weighs 85.2kgs which is a loss of -51.3kgs!!! Adro is the biggest loser - he is so happy and is quickly surrounded by his family. He is screaming and waiving his arms. Wal comes up on the stage and picks him up. It is a great moment for Adro he deserved it.

Final 3 becomes 4 with Adro back in the game
Sunday, 23 April 2006
When the old contestants came back to the house most of them were using legal vitamin supplements. It is unknown how it effects your weight loss and if it assists but Bob and Jillian felt concerned that it could. Therefore they thought it was unfair that given the risk Adro was now voted off unfairly. A prompt decision had to be made and AJ went to Adro's house. She announced that he would be joining the final three and still will be in the run to win the biggest loser. Adro was very exited and happy with the news.
Looking back on Fiona when she started on the show she was thought to be quiet. She was the smallest contestants and that made her feel vulnerable. She played for immunity whenever she could. Fiona "I went into the house as a quitter when things got though". The turning point for her was when she decided to stay and fight after a dispute. Usually she says she would have walked away. The other contestants think that she proved her capabilities when she parted with her friends Artie and Tracy. Since coming home she is working very hard and doing roughly 4.5 hrs a day.
Harry has lost a lot of weight rapidly. When he came on the show he bonded with like minded Wal and they both used to be professional athletes. Harry doesn't regret his refusal to play for immunity by eating chocolates even though it caused him to be eliminated. He says that through every competition in the house he felt like he had to push hard and it was like "food would be taken away from my kids". Harry feels that even though Adro is back in the game, Kristie will be his biggest competitor for the biggest loser title.
Kristie is highly competitive and controlling. She realized that she had to start playing the game when she decided to vote off Jo and that it would hurt people. This competition and losing weight was the first thing she has done for herself and that gave her motivation throughout the game to push it hard. She has won many challenges and got the absolute immunity to the final after winning the super challenge. In preparation for the final she is working out very hard with her personal trainer and has a new target weight of 59kgs.
Since Adro found out he is playing for the prize again he has set new goals with a target weight of 85kgs. The first weeks in the house he faced his fear of heights when climbing the Harbour Bridge. He often played for immunity and got stung by Jillian over a dispute. The solution was Bob to train him instead and it work well with Adro finally shedding some big numbers. He realized his turning point and leaving his old behind at Camp Eden when he jumped into the air recalling the experience as "It was the beginning of complete change of mind, body and soul".
The old contestants received a letter from the show putting smiles on their faces. The one who lose the most amount of weight out of them wins $50,000. It was a cheerful surprise and for some it worked as an extra encouragement.
On Thursday next week it's the final weigh-in and one will be crowned "the biggest loser"!
Adro eliminated
Friday, 21 April 2006
Continuing from the last episode Harry is about to step on the scales. The pressure is on and it's between him and Adro. Even though losing 10.7kgs on the last weigh in Harry today showed a total weight loss of 46.5kgs which is a body percentage loss of 25.99%, higher than the other contestants. Harry is clearly relieved and Adro is in shock asking Kristie for confirmation and looks faint. Harry walks back to them and Kristie shakes his hand. Now it will be Kristie and Harry that decides who will go. After the weigh-in Adro walks back to his room holding back the tears and anger. In his room Adro is furious and while packing his things and pulling down a picture of his wife and kid, he says "I've let you guys down". In a moment of frustration Adro hits the wall with his fist then later thinking what was the point? But he admits "It felt good". Kristie came upstairs comforting him and he cries saying it's not fair "We have been through 10 weeks and Harry got voted off on week 4 and now he takes the chance away from me to win". Harry knowing of Adro's frustration comes in to and gives him a hug. Fiona later tries to smooth talk Harry and try and work out who he is going to vote for. But Harry stays calm and doesn't reveal anything to her. Fiona says "Harry has made some previous decisions with his heart and not with his head what would be best strategically, so I really don't know if he will vote me out".
Time for elimination and Adro is starring into the void with Fiona next to him looking rather nervous. AJ asks Adro how he feels and Adro responds "f***ked". AJ says "Politely?" Adro says it is the worst elimination ever since they changed the rules to let an old contestant back in. AJ then asks Harry how he feels and with Fiona who voted him off before and now the tide has turned. Harry responds he has no hard feeling and that he has come to terms it is a game. Kristie says that she has always voted for the ones that poses biggest threat to her winning this competition and that she is sticking to her game plan and has therefore chosen Adro. For Harry it was the fact that Adro is 1% close to his weight loss and his biggest threat. Adro smiles and accepts the obvious. He says "I've milked this opportunity to train on this show and lose weight to my fullest". He says his goodbyes to everyone. AJ then announced to the final three that they all will be going home tomorrow to their normal life and have to put their practice in the house into the real test. They are now the final three and Fiona not feeling too confident saying "I can't beat Harry - I'll have to get down to 50kgs to do that". Kristie is sharing her plan with us saying "I'm going to use every second to exercise back at home". Harry feels pretty confident after having faced the temptations in everyday life before and knows what he can and can't do.
Bob and Jillian finds out that sadly Adro is gone. As a final encouragement to the contestants going home, they have a surprise for them. Harry is escorted by Bob to the gym and Bob shows him a life size cardboard model of how he just to look putting thing in perspective. Harry says "It's huge!". Jillian takes Kristie to show her the model of her before the show. Kristie says "I don't want to stand next to that" and laughs. Jillian explains to us that the point of showing this to them is to make them embrace it as an acknowledgment that they have come so far. Bob shows Fiona her old her and the girl that used to walk away from confrontation and challenges. Fiona is happy and know how much she has changed for the better. They say their goodbyes to Bob and Jillian in what seems like a positive moment for both sides. Jillian "In the end of the day it is about saving lives and preventing health related problems with obesity". The contestants head back to their families and are embraced with open arms. Adro also comes how to his family and to his proud wife.
On Sunday there is a surprise that involves the old biggest loser contestants...
Battle between the boys
Thursday, 20 April 2006
The contestants received a pleasant surprise when they opened the door this morning. Four gift boxes with dvds labeled "Messages from Home". Kristie got best wishes from her kids bringing her to tears. Harry's family and friends had gathered in support to wish him the best. Fiona's family celebrated for her and held up their glasses. Fiona laughed saying "cheers to you with my bottle of water". After seeing his dvd, Adro can't wait to get back to give his girl a cuddle and "make out with my wife". There was another gift for the contestants and that was to train their trainers. Bob was pushed really hard by Adro and Harry. Harry said "I've never seen you sweat like that". They thought they would have him working really hard when they pulled out the spin bike. Bob said "I was practically born on a spin bike" then he goes and removes the seat. Then we see Bob running and on gym balls and it didn't look like there was anything left in that gym for him to do. They glance over to how the girls are training Jillian and she is basically cruising something Harry and Adro would like to change. They swap and Jillian tastes her own medicine. Fiona and Kristie order Bob what to do and Bob says "Whatever you make me do I'll make you do harder". Time is over for training Bob and Jillian and they are back in control. They had to work hard and probably paid back for the training they handed out to them. Harry had to go to the medics and check he was ok and got all clear but he feels exhausted. Bob on the interview later says if he had to pick the strongest out of Adro and Harry he would pick Adro. This week will definitely be a battle between the boys since Kristie's got immunity and Fiona poses little threat.
The last weigh-in begins and the contestants will be judged on their total body percentage loss since the beginning off the show. Kristie is first to get on the scale and she now currently weighs 80.5kgs which is a drop of 24.3kgs and a total body percent loss of 23.19%. Fiona starts the official weigh-in and register a 19.7kgs weight loss brining her down to 81.4kgs which is a body percent loss of 19.49%. She walks down proud and hugs Adro and Kristie avoiding Harry. Adro is next to weigh-in and said he felt like he has done everything he could have done. Harry shakes his hand and says "good luck". Adro is currently weighing 102.6kgs which is a loss of 33.9kgs and a total percentage loss of 24.84% bringing him on top of the list. We have to wait to tomorrow until we see how much Harry has lost and his total percentage.
Inspirational speeches
Wednesday, 19 April 2006
Today the contestants and the trainers attracted a crowd of people that have watched the show and been inspired. The contestants were to speak to the crowd of 50 people. Fiona is very nervous and doesn't like public speaking. AJ welcomes the guest and they are seated. Bob and Jillian walks in to the outdoor garden and speak briefly. Each contestant is presented and walks in. Bob said they were like "a rock band". Everyone is there for inspiration. Adro is first to say a few words to a crowd with many relating to his journey. Adro talks about how he came about changing his way of thinking and taking control of his life. Kristie the "super mom" is next to talk about herself. She had her first baby at nineteen and piled on the kilos after each pregnancy. She always had losing weight on a list of things to do. It was a big step for her to finally put herself and her weight as a priority. She felt selfish but she knew she had to lose weight. Many women especially parents related to Kristie's speech. Harry started his speech with the fact that he always was overweight throughout his childhood and got up to the stage where he was weighing 180kgs. He found out that his son was embarrassed by him and that was when it struck him he had a problem. Harry has lost an amazing 40kgs and thinks about his boys whenever he is training or competing. Fiona got up there and talked about one moment where she really felt bad about herself and her weight. She was at a party eating chips and a girlfriend of hers said "What are you doing eating chips. You are fat enough." That comment hurt her very much and later she saw the auditions for biggest loser and felt that it would be a great solution. She has changed a lot and grown as a person since being on the show. The challenges and training have changed the way she feels about herself to the better. Jillian thought Fiona's speech was great and inspirational. The guests were allowed to ask the contestants questions. The guest left the house feeling inspired.
Tomorrow the contestants receive video messages from loved ones. Giving them support in the final weeks.
Boxing legend creates a neutral ground
Tuesday, 18 April 2006
Tensions seemed to ease at today's episode. Harry was invited to go on a fellow jog with the other contestants but suggested a breakfast instead. They looked like they got along well. Today boxing legend Jeff Fenech trained the contestants in the gym. It seemed to lighten up everyone and Harry was extremely exited to meet him. They all had a good time and even Harry found it hard to take Jeff's punches.
The contestant's dream outfit cabinet were opened and it was time to try them on. Harry fitted nicely in his outfit so did Fiona and Adro. They all still have a bit to go before reaching their target weights.
Fuelled anger and tensions
Monday, 17 April 2006
With Harry back in the competition, Kristie feels her whole plan has gone astray and is not as confident but the one taking the whole thing worse is Adro. Kristie makes it clear to us when she is talking to Fiona she basically has no loyalty for Adro or her. Everything she will do is for her on advantage. Harry is outside and preparing mentally for what is going to be a lonely week. "I've got a beautiful family and many friends" says Harry. Adro and Kristie are inside and working out how much they have to loose to stay above the yellow line. In the gym, Jillian is with her body language she makes it obvious she is not welcoming Harry which only fuels Harry more and more. Jillian tells Harry that he can't fool her since she is an expert and says he loaded with water before coming back to the competition. The fight ends with Harry shouting "I'm going to win this just watch!".
Bob is concerned over Adro as he seems devastating and not handling the situation very well. bob takes him aside to encourage him and tells him to deal with the unfairness and keep going. bob then feels bad about Harry and goes outside to talk to him. Bob to Harry "You get the reason for why they are upset so your role here is going to be harder making friends, but then again you are not here to make friends." Harry says he would appreciate if Bob could train him this week something Bob does not mind at all and says "I'm your only friend here". Bob trains Adro hard in the gym while Harry is doing exercise outside to keep his heart rate going. While Bob is training Adro he makes expressions of Adro wiping tears and they are having a good time. Bob "I understand Adro, he is very emotional like me". Harry is getting more fuelled up with anger and it helps him push harder. He wants to prove himself for Jillian especially on the next weigh-in. After a tense day Harry decides to talk to Adro. They have a chat and both understand each others situations.
