The 42-year-old contestant finds it very difficult to find a partner and spark some romance, as his physical conditions and looks are not exactly perfect. While searching for a gay partner, Artie noticed that well toned bodies are highly desirable and he decided to take a step forward and achieve his goal. One of Artie’s biggest problems related to his weight go back to the time when he started studying cooking, and got a job as a kitchen assistant at a hospital. The culinary world proved to be a strong attraction for Artie and he often prepares sumptuous meals at home that he enjoys by himself.

With a starting weight of 156kg and a current weight of 138kg, Artie is still a long way from reaching his goal - 96kg. Determination and motivation are high as far as this contestant is concerned and his presence in the group of twelve is a welcomed one. Artie’s sense of humour and kind nature are genuine, but the desire to reach his goal is much stronger than all other of Artie’s characteristics.
